Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
Threat policies, conditional access, MFA, device management (such as Intune) and identity settings: what is set up, missing or wrong.
Patching and encryption
Operating system and app patch levels, managed antivirus, EDR, and whether disks are encrypted with BitLocker or an equivalent.
Login attempts and account weaknesses
Failed sign-ins from overseas, users without MFA, too many administrators and weak access policies.
SPF, DKIM, DMARC and blacklists
Whether your email authentication is set up and enforced, and whether your domain is blacklisted. Gaps let criminals impersonate you.
Dark web exposure
A search of breach data for your domain, to find staff emails and passwords that have leaked and could be used to log in.
Backup, continuity and response
Backups, business continuity, incident response, breach notification readiness, passwords, access control and staff training.
For device checks we may install a temporary scanning tool, removed when we finish.

Is the cyber security assessment really free?
Yes. The assessment is valued at $2,500 and costs you nothing, with no obligation. You get the full report and the walkthrough call whether or not you engage us for anything else.
Will you make changes to our systems?
No. The assessment is read-only. We review how Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and your devices are set up today and report what we find. Any fixes only happen if you decide to engage us separately.
What access do you need for the assessment?
Temporary read-only admin access to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tenant, so we can see security settings and sign-in activity. For device checks we may install a temporary scanning tool. All access is removed when we finish.
How long does a cyber security assessment take?
Usually a week or two from your first request to having the report. We book the walkthrough call within a few days of sending it.
Do you try to hack into our systems?
No. This is a review of your settings, sign-in activity and exposure, done with read-only access. We don’t attempt to break in or exploit weaknesses. It shows you the gaps an attacker would look for, so you can close them.
We already have an IT provider. Can we still get an assessment?
Yes. Many businesses ask for one because they want an independent second opinion. Share the report with your current provider to agree fixes, or keep it as a baseline if you are thinking about a change.
