Wholesale & Distribution IT Support
Brisbane & Gold Coast
IT support and cyber security for wholesalers, distributors and importers. We keep orders moving from the sales desk to the loading dock, and make fake supplier invoices far harder to pay.
- Warehouse-grade Wi-Fi
- Invoice fraud controls
- No lock-in contracts

Typical remote fix for most issues once a technician connects.

When orders stop, the whole chain stops
Sales takes the order, the system allocates stock, the warehouse picks and packs, labels print, the courier collects and accounts raises the invoice. Break one link and everything behind it waits.
You can count the cost of an hour offline on the warehouse floor: pickers waiting, the courier cut-off passing with orders still on the bench, customers ringing about their stock, and tomorrow starting with a backlog.
- Scanners drop out in the back aisles
- Label printers stop talking to the inventory system
- Everything crawls when the morning shift logs on
- A supplier “changes bank details” by email
- Nobody knows the network passwords
Wi-Fi and scanners that reach every aisle
In a warehouse, office Wi-Fi gear fails in predictable places: behind full racking, in cold rooms, at the far end of the dock. Scanners drop mid-pick or cling to a distant access point.
We place access points for racking that’s full of stock rather than empty, and test where people actually work.

Access points placed
Positioned for full racking, the dock and the yard, not an empty floor.
Stable through a pick run
Roaming and power settings tuned so handhelds hold their connection.
Printers that print
Label printers kept connected to your inventory and courier systems.
Phones secured on the road
Delivery phones and tablets enrolled, and wiped remotely if lost.
The software that runs your stock
Examples of what clients use. We look after the devices, access and connections.
Stock, orders and purchasing
Cloud inventory and ERP platforms such as Cin7, Unleashed, DEAR Inventory (now Cin7 Core), MYOB and industry-specific systems.
Links to Xero and MYOB
When orders stop flowing into accounts, invoicing stops too. We find the break and chase the vendor if needed.
Courier and label integrations
Labels and courier bookings depend on your inventory system reaching the carrier. We keep that path open.
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
Shared inboxes for orders and accounts, all behind multi-factor authentication.

Find the weak links before your busy season
We’ll review your warehouse Wi-Fi, order systems, backups and email security, then tell you what to fix first.
Making fake supplier invoices hard to pay
Business email compromise, where a hacked or fake account redirects a payment, was among the top cybercrimes businesses reported to the ASD in 2024-25. Wholesalers paying many suppliers are exposed.
A “new bank details” email gets actioned
Changes confirmed by phone on a number you already hold
Anyone can send email as your domain
SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up and monitored
A stolen password opens the accounts inbox
Multi-factor authentication and sign-in monitoring
Overseas logins look like any other
Overseas sign-ins blocked, with exceptions for trade fair trips
A hacked mailbox goes unnoticed for weeks
Suspicious sign-ins flagged and accounts locked fast
Staff learn about invoice scams the hard way
Simulated phishing and training, with completion tracked
Warehouse, office and showroom on one network
Many distributors run a warehouse, an office and a showroom or second warehouse in different suburbs. Every site needs the same systems and the same security.
We connect and document each site to one standard, and plan warehouse moves early so the new site is ready before you are.

Interstate warehouses are supported remotely, with onsite visits arranged when a job needs one.
Moving warehouse?
Moves are quoted as a project before work starts. See IT projects and consulting.
How we keep dispatch running
Around-the-clock monitoring
Security alerts on every computer and server monitored 24/7, with alerts escalated to our team.
Patching between shifts
Updates scheduled around pick and dispatch, not in the middle of them.
Tested backups
Email, files and local data backed up and test-restored.
Spare kit ready
We help you keep a spare scanner and label printer configured, so one failure doesn’t stop a packing bench.
Vendor follow-up
Inventory platform and courier integration faults raised and chased with the vendor.
Written down
Network layouts documented; internet accounts and admin passwords kept in a business password manager.
Switching to SEQ IT
Usually 1 to 2 weeks, scheduled so the warehouse keeps shipping.
Discovery call
Your order-to-invoice chain, sites, systems and the problems costing you time.
Assessment
Warehouse Wi-Fi tested where your team works; devices, email security and backups reviewed.
Proposal and onboarding
A fixed monthly price, urgent gaps fixed first, every site documented and a full handover from your old provider.
Ongoing management
Helpdesk, monitoring, patching and security reviews, month to month.
Ready for your customers' security questions
We achieved SMB1001 Gold through CyberCert. When a major customer sends a supplier security questionnaire, we help you answer it, and can align you to the Essential Eight or take you through certification under SMB1001.

Wholesale IT: common questions
Why does our warehouse Wi-Fi keep dropping out?
Usually because office-grade equipment is fighting steel racking, concrete, stock and distance, and scanners cling to a weak access point instead of roaming. We reposition or add access points, tune roaming and test coverage where your team works.
What inventory and ERP systems do you support?
We support the devices, logins and integrations around Cin7 (including Cin7 Core, formerly DEAR Inventory), Unleashed, MYOB, Xero integrations and industry-specific ERPs, plus barcode scanners and label printers. The vendor runs the platform, and we raise faults with them when needed.
How do we stop paying fake supplier invoices?
Combine email controls with a payment process. We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, multi-factor authentication, sign-in monitoring and phishing training. You adopt a rule that any change of supplier bank details is confirmed by phone on a number you already hold, never one from the email.
We're moving to a new warehouse. When should IT be involved?
Early, ideally before the racking goes in. Internet services can take weeks to connect, and access points are far easier to place in an empty building. We plan the move, set up the new site and cut over with minimal disruption to dispatch.
Can our staff use AI tools with supplier and customer data?
Yes, with rules. AI can draft product descriptions and summarise sales data, but supplier pricing and customer details shouldn’t go into public tools. We help you choose approved tools, set them up securely and train your team.
How much does IT support cost for a wholesale business?
Managed IT typically costs $120 to $250 per user per month, with your warehouse devices and sites factored into one fixed monthly price. Terms are month to month, and projects like a warehouse move are quoted before work starts.
