Not everything fits into a monthly managed services plan. Sometimes you need a specific project delivered: a migration to a new platform, a new office fitted out, a network rebuilt, or expert advice on a technology decision. That is where our project and consulting services come in.
We deliver IT projects for businesses that are already on our managed services plans and for businesses that need standalone project work. Either way, you get the same standard of planning, communication, and delivery. We scope the work, provide a clear price, and deliver it properly.
We are both a Microsoft Partner and a Google Partner. This means we can migrate your business to either platform, between platforms, or from legacy systems to the cloud. We recommend the platform that fits your business, not the one that earns us the higher margin.
Cloud & Email Migrations
Migrating your business to a new email and collaboration platform is one of the most impactful IT projects you can undertake, and one of the easiest to get wrong. A poorly planned migration leads to lost emails, broken calendars, missing files, confused staff, and days of downtime. We plan and execute migrations so that your team barely notices the switch.
Migration to Microsoft 365
Moving from on-premises Exchange, hosted email, Google Workspace, or another provider to Microsoft 365. We migrate mailboxes, calendars, contacts, and files. We configure security, MFA, and policies. We set up Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Your team gets a fully configured, secured environment from day one.
Migration to Google Workspace
Moving from Microsoft 365, on-premises email, or another provider to Google Workspace. We migrate Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Contacts. We configure security settings, MFA, admin controls, and Shared Drives. For NFPs, we help you apply for free Google Workspace nonprofit licences before we migrate.
Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace
Switching platforms in either direction. We handle the full migration including email history, calendar events, contacts, files from OneDrive/SharePoint to Google Drive (or vice versa), and reconfiguration of security and access controls on the new platform.
Legacy System Migrations
Moving from on-premises servers, hosted Exchange, POP/IMAP email, or legacy file shares to a modern cloud platform. We assess what you have, plan the migration path, and move everything across with minimal disruption. This includes decommissioning old infrastructure once the migration is complete.

Standalone Projects or Part of Managed Services
You do not need to be on a managed services plan to engage us for a project. We work with businesses in two ways:
Standalone Projects
You need a specific project delivered: a migration, a fit-out, a network upgrade, or an assessment. We scope it, price it, deliver it, and hand it over. No ongoing commitment required. If you decide you want managed services later, the transition is seamless because we already know your environment.
Projects for Managed Clients
If you are already on our managed services plan, project work is scoped and priced separately from your monthly fee. This keeps your monthly cost predictable while giving you the flexibility to tackle larger initiatives like migrations, fit-outs, and upgrades when the time is right.

How long does a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace migration take?
It depends on the size of your business and the volume of data being migrated. For a typical small business with 10 to 30 users, a migration can be completed in one to two weeks including planning, data transfer, and post-migration support. Larger or more complex environments take longer. We provide a clear timeline during the scoping phase.
Will we have downtime during the migration?
We plan migrations to minimise or eliminate downtime. For email migrations, we typically run a coexistence period where both the old and new platforms are active, then cut over once everything is validated. Your team continues working normally throughout. The actual cutover is usually scheduled outside business hours.
Can you migrate us from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 (or vice versa)?
Yes. We migrate in both directions. This includes email, calendars, contacts, and files. We also handle the security reconfiguration, DNS changes, and staff onboarding on the new platform. As both a Microsoft Partner and a Google Partner, we have the tools and experience to handle cross-platform migrations cleanly.
We still have an on-premises server. Can you move us to the cloud?
Yes. We migrate businesses from on-premises servers, hosted Exchange, file shares, and legacy infrastructure to modern cloud platforms. We assess your current setup, plan the migration path, migrate your data, configure security, and decommission the old infrastructure once everything is confirmed working in the cloud.
Do we need to be on your managed services plan to use your project services?
No. We deliver standalone projects for businesses that are not on a managed plan. We scope the work, provide a fixed price, deliver the project, and hand it over. If you decide you want ongoing managed services later, that is an easy transition because we already know your environment.
How do you price projects?
We provide fixed project pricing after an initial scoping conversation. You know the cost upfront before any work starts. We do not charge hourly rates that blow out or send surprise invoices at the end. If something changes during the project, we discuss it with you before proceeding.
We are opening a new office. How far in advance should we engage you?
As early as possible. Ideally four to six weeks before your move-in date, though we can work to tighter timelines if needed. The earlier we are involved, the better we can coordinate with your builder, electrician, and other trades to make sure cabling, power, and network points are where they need to be.
Can you help us decide between Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?
Yes. As both a Microsoft Partner and a Google Partner, we give honest advice based on how your business works, not which platform benefits us. We assess your team’s needs, your industry requirements, your budget, and your existing tools, then recommend the platform that is the best fit. If you are an eligible NFP, we factor in the free and discounted tiers available on each platform.
